Allie Rae is a uniquely different comfort footwear company known for it's incomparable, hand-crafted, fashion footwear and it's ability to enrich lives, sustain communities and offer hope through the intersection of consumers and craftspeople.
Being an intern at Allie Rae means working under Jamie Rivadeneyra, the companies president and founder. Jamie is an incredible thinker and driven business woman who has taught me so much about networking, accounting, and entrepreneurial success in the realm of social good business. As Jamie's intern, I have worked on our business liscense and offical "patent pending" paperwork. I worked with Jamie to organize and plan our investors dinner and outreach event and hand picked multiple kinds of leather and other materials used for the final prototypes that were recently produced in Honduras under Jamie's supervision. I have also headed our kickstarter campaign (which will hopefully be running in the new year) and have been working on our new website (allierae.com) as well as other genres of our social media campaign.
